Marlissa Cunningham is a 36 year old mom of two who has always had a passion for writing. While Catalyst is her first published novel, her first completed work was at twelve years old. It was 100 handwritten pages and unfortunately, lost to time.

Always creative and imaginative, Marlissa pursued her dreams of theatre and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Performance studies. She also acquired a certification for floral design while still in high school. She went on to work professionally as an extra on film and tv, a costume designer for stage productions, and owned her own floral design business.

After marrying and having children, life became hectic, but she still loved to write. Whether writing collaboratively for fun or writing on her own, a few characters and worlds lived in her brain until she finally decided to share them with the world.
